Two Days: Sunday 2/3 & 2/10, 2019
Let’s take a brand new approach to improving our improvisation skills. TAG (Teaching with Acoustical Guidance) is a pioneering technique that’s been used to train everyone from surgeons and gymnasts to dolphins.
We’ll use TAG to break down improv into its fundamental components, removing subjectivity and ego in the pursuit of sharper skills and instincts. When your basic listening, agreement, and specificity skills are improved, you’ll have more fun on stage. This will be a radically new way to study improv and will probably change the face of everything forever, probably.
Zach Huddleston is an instructor and performer (Heyday, Botch Bros) at the Westside and a former instructor and Artistic Director at the iO West Theater in Hollywood. He’s taught at theaters and improv festivals in a bunch of cities and at least one foreign country (if we’re not counting Florida as foreign).
