Announcing open auditions for M.i.’s Westside Comedy Theater’s MISSION: IMPROVable!

Twice a year, The Westside will be holding open auditions to cast two five person ensembles for the M.I. Show. PAID OPPORTUNITY

Rehearsal Dates: 1/25, 2/22, 3/15, 4/12
Team 1 Show Dates: 2/14, 2/28, 3/14, 3/28, 4/11, 4/25, 5/9, 5/23, 6/6, 6/20, 7/4, 7/18
Team 2 Show Dates: 2/7, 2/21, 3/7, 3/21, 4/4, 4/18, 5/2, 5/16, 5/30, 6/13, 6/27, 7/11, 7/25

What are we looking for?

We are looking for performers with strong improv performance backgrounds who will partner with us to enthusiastically promote their shows. Performers will audition as individuals, not as groups. Selection will be based on several factors including:

Hosting
Scene Work
Line Games
Group work
Overall Funny

Please note that performers will be expected to commit to all show and rehearsal dates. If there are conflicts with specific dates, there will be an opportunity to list them in your submission. Performers will be paid $30/ show and $35/ rehearsal.

What is Mission: IMPROVable?

Mission: IMPROVable is Westside Comedy Theaters flagship show. It is high-energy, explosive short form improv with lots of audience interaction. Mission: IMPROVable has been performing for over 15 years, delighting and surprising audiences with a completely new show, inspired by their suggestions, every Saturday night.
