ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:
The Westside Comedy Festival will be stacked with amazing improv troupes from all over the country. Also, catch live improv podcasts and special guest celebrities to be announced. This is the must-perform-in-and-see event in Southern California. The festival takes place at The Westside Comedy Theater and is produced by Nick Armstrong and Jeff Thompson. Come for the comedy, stay for the beach!

ABOUT THE ENSEMBLE: Nick will be directing a King Ten Style Harold. Like a traditional Harold but with an emphasis on thematic, fast play and heightening. Group mind at it’s finest. King Ten is the longest running Harold team in Los Angeles closing in on 17 years. They started at iO West but have since moved to M.I’s Westside Comedy Theater.
ABOUT NICK : Nick is an Actor, Improvisor and Writer living in Los Angeles, CA. On TV Nick has been on the Emmy-Award winning shows The Office and Grey’s Anatomy. He has also made appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live, New Girl, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Stan Against Evil and Parks and Recreation. He has also Executive Produced, acted and written a pilot for A&E. He was recently chosen as a finalist for TruTV at the New York Television Festival.
Nick has trained in sketch and improv at The Groundlings and iO West. He is an alum of The Sunday Company at the Groundlings and an alum of the world-famous iO West. He currently performs on LA’s Critically Acclaimed Harold Team King Ten and County Line at M.I.’s Westside Comedy Theater where he is Artistic Director. He has also taught improv at iO West, The Groundlings and has done workshops and headlined festivals all over the world.
Nick is also the Camp Director and Founder of Camp Improv Utopia a a 501(c) (3) Non Profit improv retreat for grown ups. He is also one of the founding members of the The Improv Network.
