Voiceover Workshop
Monday Nights: 8/3, 8/10, 8/17, 8/24
4 Weeks
7pm- 9pm
From television and radio commercials to animation and video games, voiceover work is everywhere. That’s why it’s one of the most dynamic industries for an actor. And hey! You can do it from home! Join veteran voice actor Landon Kirksey as he guides you through both the acting part of voice acting, and the technical and business side of running your own home studio.
We’ll conduct classes live via Zoom. You will be asked to record, edit and email some mock auditions. A USB condenser mic is preferred but you can record auditions on your phone if you don’t have one.
Instructor Bio: Landon has been a working voice actor for 12 years, voicing commercials for Samsung, Lexus, Universal Orlando, and many more. He has also been improvising for 18 years, beginning his education at The Second City in Chicago and continuing to perform at io Chicago, The PIT in New York City, Dallas Comedy House and Four Day Weekend in Fort Worth, Texas where he also served as Director of Education. He is currently a cast member of the award winning Mission IMPROVable ensemble and proud to be a core faculty member of The Westside Comedy Theater.
