Improv Resident Team Audition Night!

LINEUP:

Adele Dazeem

Adele Dazeem is LA’s hottest all-female musical improv team, formed out of UCB in 2016. Mostly a queer team, these ladies are not afraid to “go there” with infamous improvised songs such as “Everybody Should Cry During Sex”, “Don’t You Wanna Go Viral?” and “Cruisin’ for a Dick”… and in 6 part harmony, audiences always have a good time! The team had a house show at UCB’s Inner Sanctum for a year before the world melted down in 2020. They’ve been back headlining for shows around town in 2022 and look forward to becoming a resident team at Westside where they’ve had many fun performances in the past!

Ammonium Carbonate

This team all met at Westside Comedy and have all performed for years on house improv and sketch teams.  In addition to training and performing at the westside, team members have trained and performed at UCB, Groundlings & iO.  Ammonium Carbonate enjoys high energy, long form improv shows that generally focus on finding a central theme and always to wrap the show up by calling back early ideas and letting all the worlds collide on each other.

Team Terrific

“Team Terrific!” is a collection of diverse performers who have taught and performed separately around the world and have connected through their time performing with one another at some point and time in their improv careers. Now that they are all living in California they’ve combined their improv knowledge and powers to create a supergroup whose credits include The Second City, iO, Westside Comedy Theater, NBC, Roku, Comedy Central, Amazon, and Peacock just to name a few. Using a form based on the popular game “Never Have I Ever”, the “Team Terrific!” style of play can be described as weirdly relatable, grounded, and infectiously fun.

Forever Team

Forever Team is a long-form improv team that grew out of the training program at M.I. ‘s Westside Comedy Theater in Santa Monica California. The troupe features a diverse cast with Roberto Lewis, Alex Srour, Ruby Willmann, Jerry Witt, Carl Meyer-Curtis, and Christina Lopez. They are currently coached by Chris Alvarado and were previously coached by Amanda Blake Davis.

Besides being featured as an alley team, a house team and, most recently, a resident team at the Westside Comedy Theater, Forever Team has appeared on numerous stages in the L.A.-area: UCB, Pack Theater, The Improv Space, The Fanatic Salon, The Clubhouse, and Acme Comedy Theater. They performed at the Wasatch Improv Festival in Utah and co-hosted a bi-weekly improv show called The Rocket Science Improv Show in Westwood.

The team has performed together for four years. They are known for presenting emotionally honest characters in both realistic and fantastic situations.
